Ageing Asia World Festival of Ageing 2020

Throughout November, the most prestigious forum exploring ageing in the Asia Pacific region was hosted in Singapore and delivered to a worldwide audience. The GCMA had three key-note speaking positions and an international judging role at this prestigious festival.

The Ageing Asia World Festival of Ageing 2020 presented 23 days of content and over 170 sessions - attracting a global audience of private, government and community sectors, and older people aged over 60 from 35 countries, 5,000 participants, 150 speakers, and a showcase of the world's top 100 products that will enable successful ageing.

  • GMCA CEO Julianne Parkinson joined an international judging panel for both the 8th Eldercare Innovation Awards and the Ageing Asia Start-Up Awards. Additionally, she spoke on the topic 'Ageing at Home – the role of Telehealth'.

  • GCMA Strategic Advisor Dr Terry Sweeney addressed the 'The Rise of AI in health & care. A new partnership between humanity and technology’.

  • General Practitioner and GCMA Strategic Advisor Professor Justin Beilby, presented on Innovations in Aged Care. Watch the presentation below…

The 2020 Ageing Asia Start-Up Awards and the 8th International Eldercare Awards both enjoyed their strongest field of entries and finalists to date. It was inspiring to see the attention and in-roads being realised to support our modern elder's age well and live better lives.

The GCMA is thrilled to be working with the Winners of three categories to accelerate their market growth.
